Jason Ruch is an American music producer, mixing engineer, and composer renowned for his work in the rock and metal genres. Jason also works within several other musical genres, including Indy Rock, Punk Rock, and electronic music.

 Operating out of his Cherry Hill, New Jersey-based studio, Zero By One Sound, Jason has served as a recording and mixing engineer, audio editor, producer, and sound designer for a diverse range of projects. His portfolio includes work for record labels, film and television, theme parks, and corporate clients. 

In the late '90s to mid-2000s, Jason was an active touring musician with several metal, industrial, and gothic bands sharing the stage with acts such as Stabbing Westward, Gravity Kills, Lacuna Coil, The Birthday Massacre, Genitorturers, Tapping The Vein and many more. 

Beyond music, he has made a name for himself in the horror attraction industry with his company, Audio Zombie, which provides custom sound effects and musical compositions to top haunted houses and animatronics companies globally. Through Audio Zombie, Jason has also released a range of sound effect libraries used by creators across the entertainment industry. 

Jason’s sound design work can be heard in some of the most immersive horror experiences around the world. Additionally, his compositions for independent films have earned accolades, with several winning awards for sound at film festivals.
